A member was involved in an accident and failed to contact the Affinity emergency call centre for assistance. The member proceeded to arrange the towing himself, and subsequently received a tow invoice of R6500. The Insurer claims department contacted Affinity, who was successful in renegotiating the invoice on behalf of the Insurer to R1000, with no storage or release fees. Vehicle was then moved to the approved panel beater without additional charges.
