Awesome service

On Thursday morning 29 January 2015 Craig Williams attended to my request for Roadside Assistance.

 I wish to place on record that his assistance was excellent – he was informative, calm, and called me every 20 minutes as he said he would. I should mention that I was approached by 2 policemen who arrived in their van, one of which insisted I use a tow-in service he would call. He was very insistent, and I felt a bit threatened. Craig spoke to him and stayed on the line with me until I indicated that they had left (incidentally, that tow-in truck arrived about 5 minutes later, but I refused the service).

Craig stayed in touch until he had confirmation that the tow-in had arrived, and enquired later to check that I had arrived at my office..

To add to that – he called later in the afternoon to enquire how my day had been…. 

It is not always that one receives such calm, friendly service , and Craig should be recognised for the excellent service he gives.

It would be appreciated if you would convey to him my appreciation.


Excellent Service

Just by way of a brief introduction, I’m Cavan and I’m an actuary at Oakhurst.

I just wanted to compliment Leshae who handled my initial Gold Club roadside emergency call yesterday. I think what impressed me most was the way she professionally applied herself to my specific issue instead of merely relying on a set routine or general “script” of answers. Her tailored response provided the platform that enabled me to get back on road and continue travelling from where I broke down (in Somerset West) late in the afternoon on a Sunday.

This meant that I avoided so many other secondary costs and delays because I needed to get back to George, which is 400km away from Somerset West. She kept in touch the whole way through this process and was a reassuring voice in an otherwise dismal situation. She was positive, communicated clearly and very efficient. She called to verify that everything had been sorted out finally and I believe that this was some time after she had officially finished her shift.

I’m truly impressed by this kind of service – it was an inspiring lesson I could never have expected to stem from a roadside breakdown.

And it doesn’t end here! I stopped for dinner in Riversdale, about 260km away from Somerset West and 140km away from my final destination. But I was unable to get back on the road later, as the second-hand clutch cable that had been fitted during the initial roadside assistance gave way. That’s when Rowena came to the rescue and I have to say, I think you must have a generally wonderful, top-notch team if my experience is anything to go by. With the time being around 9pm and with 140kms left in my journey, the odds are so completely stacked against the kind of solution that Rowena managed to coordinate. By all rights, my vehicle should have been towed away and  I should have been left to my own resources to find accommodation in Riversdale and sort out everything from Riversdale the following morning. Instead, I’m at work this morning and my car is at the motor repairs workshop I always use.

 I am blown away by this service and level of caring and I would like to thank you all very much for this first class service.
